That's roughly 32 to 33 crore phones manufactured every single year, all within Indian borders. The government's Mobile Phone Manufacturing Scheme has been the real driver here, scaling up production capacity and pushing companies to source more components locally. Five major global smartphone brands now have manufacturing operations running in India, and that's created a ripple effect across the entire supply chain. Component makers, suppliers, and logistics companies have all set up shop to support this ecosystem.
