OPPO's about to make some serious waves with the Find X10 Pro Max, and Pete Lau, the company's Chief Product Officer, just confirmed it's heading beyond China to international markets. The phone will be the first of its kind to pack MediaTek's brand-new Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, built on TSMC's cutting-edge 2nm process. If you're in India, buckle up, because leaks suggest this could land here by the end of October, way faster than the previous generation took.
So what makes this chipset so special? The Dimensity 9600 Pro delivers some seriously impressive numbers. We're talking 61% better CPU energy efficiency compared to the older generation, which means the phone should handle everything you throw at it without draining the battery. The new processor rocks two ultra-fast C2-Ultra cores clocked at 4.55GHz alongside six performance cores, and MediaTek claims it'll deliver 17% better overall performance. For gamers, the upgraded G2-Ultra NX GPU brings enhanced ray tracing and smoother frame rates, with the company saying sustained heavy workloads will see 27% higher performance.
But the camera setup is where this phone really flexes. The Find X10 Pro Max will be the first smartphone ever to pack three 200MP rear cameras, all tuned by Hasselblad. The standard Find X10 gets two 200MP shooters, but it's the Pro Max that'll turn heads. Both phones also get the new Hasselblad Ultra HD Original Camera system and a second-generation Danxia colour system with 24-channel colour sampling to nail accurate colours in any lighting.
The AI side of things is getting a major boost too. The Dimensity 9600 Pro features a dual-NPU setup, with the high-performance NPU delivering 51% faster large language model processing for on-device AI tasks, while the Super Efficient NPU is 40% more power-hungry. OPPO's also introducing its Laminar Flow Engine, developed with MediaTek, which is designed to speed up app launches and keep content loading silky smooth during heavy tasks.
Based on the Find X9 series timeline, expect a global debut sometime after the China launch later this month, with an India arrival likely by the end of October. This is shaping up to be one seriously competitive flagship.
