Realme's bringing some serious Potterhead energy to India's audio market. On September 21st, the company's dropping the Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition, and it's coming alongside the Realme 16 Pro with matching magical branding. Both devices will carry official Harry Potter theming and aesthetics, so if you're a fan of the franchise, this could be your moment.
The teaser images show off Harry Potter motifs on both the case and the earbuds themselves, though Realme's keeping the full design under wraps for now. Since the Realme 16 Pro has already been showcased, we're guessing the special edition buds will follow a similar aesthetic approach. Expect these to hit Flipkart alongside the phone, making them easy to grab if you're already planning to buy in.
Under the hood, you're getting the same solid hardware as the regular Realme Buds T500 Pro, which launched earlier this year. We're talking 12.4mm drivers for that deep bass experience, Hi-Res Audio support, and the LHDC 5.0 codec for high-bitrate Bluetooth transmission. There's also Active Noise Cancellation rated at up to 50dB, which is pretty competitive for this segment. For gaming, you get 45ms ultra-low latency to keep things lag-free.
Battery life is genuinely impressive here. The Buds T500 Pro deliver up to 56 hours of total playback when you factor in the charging case. With ANC running, expect around 8 hours and 33 minutes from a single charge, then another 33 hours from the case. That's enough juice to get you through pretty much anything without constantly hunting for a charger.
The regular Realme Buds T500 Pro is priced at Rs 3,199, so expect the Harry Potter Edition to command a premium over that. The special edition branding is really the main draw here, so Harry Potter enthusiasts will probably be willing to pay extra for the themed aesthetics. If you're not fussed about the wizarding world connection, the standard version comes in yellow, black, and silver if you want to save some cash.
