The Vivo X500 Pro Max 5G and Vivo X500 Pro 5G are the premium offerings, while a standard Vivo X500 5G rounds out the trio. All three are live in China right now, hitting Vivo's online store later this month.
The two Pro models are running MediaTek's Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, which is built on a cutting-edge 2nm process. That's the real star here, making these phones absolute beasts for gaming and heavy multitasking. The standard X500 5G steps down to the Dimensity 9600 5G, which is still no slouch. Vivo's also cranked up the camera system on the Pro versions, bringing what the company claims is the most powerful imaging setup the X series Pro devices have ever seen.
Pricing starts at CNY 5,499 for the base X500 5G with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The X500 Pro 5G kicks off at CNY 6,499 for the same configuration, while the Pro Max is the priciest at CNY 6,999 for the entry variant. Both Pro models go up to 1TB of storage, and the Pro Max even gets a special 16GB RAM variant bundled with a creator kit. If you're willing to spend, you're looking at prices climbing up to CNY 8,999.
These phones are currently available exclusively in China, but Vivo has already confirmed a global rollout is coming down the line. No specific timeline has been announced yet for international markets, and there's no word on India availability at this point. That said, if Vivo's pattern holds, expect these flagships to eventually land in major markets including India, though pricing will likely shift based on regional pricing strategies.
