Vivo's next S-series phone is already showing up in benchmark databases before any official announcement. The Vivo S2 FE recently surfaced on Geekbench with some solid specs that give us a real peek at what's coming. The device showed up with a MediaTek chip and 6GB of RAM, and it's been spotted across multiple certification platforms including Bluetooth SIG and BIS in India. Vivo launched the regular S2 just last month, so the FE variant looks set to be the more affordable follow-up.

According to the Geekbench listing, the S2 FE scored 868 points in single-core and 2,887 in multi-core tests. The processor appears to be the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e, based on its clock speeds that match the chipset's specifications. You're getting quad-core performance at 2.00GHz and another set of four cores running at 2.50GHz, paired with a Mali-G610 MC2 GPU. The listing also shows Android 16 running out of the box, though 6GB RAM is likely just the base configuration.

Here's where things get interesting: early reports suggest the S2 FE might actually be a rebranded version of the Vivo V80 Lite 5G that already launched in Malaysia. If that's true, you're looking at some seriously impressive hardware for a budget-friendly phone. The V80 Lite 5G sports a massive 10,000mAh battery, a 6.84-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP rear camera, and a 32MP selfie shooter. It also supports 44W fast charging, which is solid for the category.

The specs line up pretty nicely too. The Malaysian variant uses that same Dimensity 7300e chip we're seeing in the S2 FE's benchmark, which strengthens the rebranding theory. But here's the thing: Vivo hasn't officially confirmed any of this yet. The company's staying quiet about specifications, launch timing, and whether this really is the V80 Lite repackaged for India. For now, we'll have to wait for an official announcement, but these certification listings suggest it's coming soon.
